Who are we?

We have around a 100 members coming mostly from within a ten mile radius of the city. The age range of our club is mainly 50+ but we do have some younger members.

We do not have a central meeting point for our walks. Members make their own way to the starting place using their own transport. The club encourages informal car sharing arrangements as very often parking is limited at our meeting places and more importantly it decreases our carbon footprint. We are ideally situated in Wolverhampton to access areas such as Shropshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, the Cotswolds, Cheshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, Warwickshire and the Welsh borders and this you will see, is reflected in our programme of walks.

Members can enjoy a programme of short (5-6 miles) and longer walks (8-10 miles) every Sunday, offering plenty of choice for all abilities throughout the year.  In addition to our weekly walks programme we arrange walking holidays for club members at home and abroad as well as meals out, occasional tours and visits.

Members are kept up to date with a quarterly newsletter together with two six monthly programmes.

If you would like any further information or wish to discuss any issue that you feel would affect your membership you can find names and numbers on the Contact page.
